Reduce
We’ll always have free carrier bags available to take your purchases home if you need one but we’d encourage you to use your own wherever possible. We’ll ask if you need a bag rather than automatically giving you one.
Re-use
If you do take one of our bags, you’ll find it’s strong and durable, suitable for re-use in a multitude of outdoor situations, from rucksack liner, to temporary overshoes for wet campsites. Our customers have been re-using Out & About bags for over 20 years. The gallery below represents just some of the photos we’ve been sent of the bag sharing your worldwide travels, there are dozens more in the Harrogate shop and we’re always looking for more- just email your photos to us.
Re-cycle
When the bag gets to the end of it’s useful life don’t forget to recycle it- if you live in Peebles you can now put it out with your kerb-side recycling.
