When the northern outpost of our family settled in Peebles in 1992 it was full of untapped outdoor potential- a real hidden gem.  Now the secret’s out every second car seems to have a roof rack full of mountain bikes and  the Mums meet up in the playground to go off biking once the kids are at school.  Out & About has grown with the town’s adventurous citizens and now offers a range of outdoor kit that’s unrivalled in the Borders.

This year the Scottish Borders Walking Festival comes to Tweeddale and we are pleased to be supporting the programme. We’ll be highlighting special offers and festival discounts nearer the time but meanwhile you can find out more on the festival website here
